How does our accounting services cost calculator work?

Our online calculator has been developed so that you can easily, quickly and conveniently calculate the approximate cost of the accounting services of your company in Bulgaria. The tool takes into account the key characteristics of your activity, which allows you to get an individual and maximally realistic result, tailored to the specifics of your business.

The calculator is extremely easy to use — you only need to select or enter a few basic parameters, after which the system automatically calculates and visualizes the approximate cost. This gives you the opportunity to plan your budget in advance, compare different scenarios and choose the most suitable model of accounting service.

The online calculator is suitable both for entrepreneurs who are just about to establish a company, and for already functioning companies that are looking for optimization of their current costs for accounting services.

All you have to do is answer the questions consistently in the calculator — and you will get the result instantly.

Some of the main criteria that our calculator takes into account are:

The nature of your company's activities
The number of employees employed under labor and civil contracts
Number of primary accounting documents that your enterprise generates per month (invoices for purchases, sales, reports from fiscal apparatus, etc.)

The primary document is a carrier of information about a business operation registered for the first time
Does the company have foreign economic activity
Number of physical objects from which the activity is carried out and number of Bulgarian and foreign bank accounts
The need to receive additional services

Step 3: Do you already have a company registered in Bulgaria?

Step 4: Number of invoices issued and received for purchases and sales

Write down the approximate amount of invoices and other primary accounting documents that your company processes each month

👥 Step 5: Number of employees hired under an employment and/or civil contract

Write the total number of employees and other collaborators employed under both civil and labor contracts in your company. IMPORTANT! The manager (that is, the general director) of the company does NOT enter this number!

💶 Step 6: Estimated annual turnover of the company in euros

Enter a sample estimated turnover (revenue) of your company for every 12 consecutive calendar months to determine if you need to register for VAT on a turnover basis, as well as other accounting and tax obligations that would affect the price.

💶 Step 7: Does your company have (plans to have) a VAT (Value Added Tax) registration in Bulgaria?

🧾 Step 8: Number and type of bank accounts in Bulgaria

Indicate how many active bank accounts have been opened (or are planned to be opened) by your company in Bulgarian banks. Processing operations on several accounts requires additional data processing. Please also indicate the number of bank accounts abroad (in the EU or outside)

✅ Step 9: Activity related to the offering of dual-purpose goods or services or those falling within the scope of Directive (EU) 2024/1226 on the definition of criminal offences and penalties for infringements of EU restrictive measures

Does your company's activity include manufacturing, trading, brokering or providing services related to dual-purpose goods or technologies?

⚠️ Dual-purpose goods and technologies are those that can be used for both civilian and military purposes. For example: encryption software, drones, laser technologies, certain electronic components, etc.”

✅ Step 10: Number of physical objects from which your company operates

How many sites (physical addresses) does your company use in the course of its activities?

A site is any premises or location in which an economic or administrative activity is carried out, including shops, offices, warehouses, production bases, logistics centers, etc.

⚠️ Please note: when registering under the VAT Act (VAT), it is mandatory to have a physical object (at least an office).

The presence of
only a virtual office is NOT recommended for companies registered for VAT, as it can lead to the CANCELLATION of an existing VAT registration or to the refusal of a future VAT registration, which entails the obligation to refund an already used tax credit!

✅ Step 11: Foreign Employees

Does your company plan to hire (has appointed) foreign employees - citizens of countries other than Bulgaria? (The general directors and founders of the company are not included in this number)

Step 12: Additional and contact information
